The Mission of Our Program:

Our mission at Great Adventure Childcare is to provide a safe, loving environment for God’s youngest--a place where they can start to build a foundation of love, trust, and faith so they can begin to hear the song God has planted in their hearts.

How do children learn at Great Adventure Childcare?

Our preschool classrooms use the phonics based "Sing, Spell, Read, and Write" curriculum during morning circle activities to help establish kindergarten readiness.

Our Book It! Program stresses the importance of early exposure to quality literature. We feel this program is a strong component in helping to develop successful readers.

In using our Hands-On Bible curriculum, we help children master three basic spiritual principles: God loves them, God made them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. We incorporate music, puppets, and biblical stories to foster language development and a love for God.

The children’s learning environment include theme-based centers that encourage sensory exploration. We know that children learn best through hands-on experiences that allow challenging interaction with their every day world.

Teacher/Child Ratio:

6 weeks-12 months- 1:3

1 year olds- 1:4

2 year olds- 1:6

3 year olds- 1:7

PreK- 1:8

Hours of Operation:

7:00am-6:00pm

Preschool class time is from 9:30-3:30.

Ages of Children:

6 weeks to 12 years

Fees:

Registration fee-$50.00 per family, per year

Activity fee-$25.00 per child, per year for any child 3 year-PreK

Weekly Tuition:

6 weeks-12 months: $155.00

1 year olds: $140.00

2 year olds: $130.00

3 year olds: $125.00

4 year olds: $125.00

PreK: $120.00

Before School Care: $60

After School Care: $60

Before & After School Care: $75

Part time slots (MWF or TTh) are extremely limited, and are on a first come, first serve basis. Part time children will not be allowed to switch days for any reason without authorized permission from the director, and will be extremely discouraged.

Infant/Toddler Class:

You will find that our infant and toddler classes work hard to provide the absolute best care for children. These rooms have low child/teacher ratios that are far superior to industry standards, allowing our mature caregivers the ability to provide more individualized attention than most larger centers. We train our workers to understand the developmental issues of security, exploration, and identity that are so crucial during a child’s earliest years. At Great Adventure Childcare, we strive to provide loving support for the entire family.

Preschool Program:

Here at Great Adventure Childcare, we provide a loving environment that encourages growth of our young children in the following developmental areas: social/emotional, cognitive, linguistic, physical, and spiritual. One of the most important goals of each program is for our children to know that they are loved and are uniquely special to us and to God. We believe that it is very important that each child learn to get along well with others and become enthusiastic learners. In this way, we not only prepare them for success at school, but also help to put into place a foundation of success that they can build upon their entire lives.
